What is Ice Theater?

It combines the grace of figure skating and the excitement of theater and dance!

Skaters of both competitive and recreational levels can learn and grow in an ice theater program. Solo skating is not the primary focus, skaters are encouraged to work together while also continuing to work on their individual technical and artistic figure skating abilities. Our ice theater program is not a competition program. This program is strictly performance based focusing on our rink shows and now our very own themed production!

Skaters participating in Ice Theater will receive the following benefits:

  • A chance to develop the dramatic side of their skating
  • A chance to be a part of a team while continuing to use and grow their technical skills
  • More confidence when performing in competitions and shows
  • A chance to make new friends
  • Bring an emotional spirit into the skaters competition and show skating

Our mission is to train and develop skaters in the technical AND artistic aspects of figure skating.

We encourage our skaters to focus on good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for all skaters

in our quest to reach our goals as a group! We want them to have fun WHILE working hard!

PARENTS

The skaters may be the stars of the show, but family members can have vital supporting roles to make the show a success!

We are casting supporting role leads and assistants to oversee show details in conjunction with KLA staff.

These volunteer roles are a way to get involved in the enthusiasm of the production.

Please email KAT at info@klicklewisarena.com and let me know which category (listed below) you can lend a hand.

We will announce who will lead and assist in each category.
